Ken Fischer-Designed Airbrake Speaker Attenuator
This was my second project after the Trainwreck amp. Originally designed by the late Ken Fischer, this product is now being sold as the Dr. Z Airbrake, and retails for $330.00; I built mine for just under $80.00.
What this does: It dials the volume down, AFTER the amp and before the speaker. This allows you to play the amp at a reasonable volume, while maintaining the charactaristics of the amp that it displays only when turned up.
I need to work on the cosmetics don't I? At least change those tiny knobs.
