Bruce and the Dogwoods
Bruce is a Pittbull/German Shepherd mix who, when we lived at Lemon Hill, would sit just like this. Facing the sunset, very stately, under the dogwood trees.
He was found in Fairmount Park, not far from this spot. It was clear that he had spent a night, at the most, wandering the park after he was abandoned. His devotion to us, and his whole family is his career. In his free time he likes going on short walks (he gets nervous when he’s far from home) and catching Frisbees with Cyndi. His favorite food is Hamburgers, and his favorite snack is his dad’s dirty socks.
